Evology Bridge Build Off

Welcome to the Evology Bridge Build Off—an engineering throwdown where your creativity meets our destructive testing.

Here’s the challenge: design a bridge using specific constraints, submit your file, and if your design makes the top five, we’ll 3D print it using FDM and test it to failure in glorious, slow-motion detail.

Yes, really. You build it, we break it. This is your chance to show what you’re made of (and what your designs are made of too).

HOW IT WORKS

1.

Design it.

Go crazy with it! Want to make a scale model of the Golden Gate Bridge? Be our guest. Got a crazy one off design you think can stand up to the competition? Lets see it. Just as long as your build fits within 16″ x 14″ x 1/2″, uses no more than a singular spool of material (92 cu. in.), and features no no mechanical fasteners.

2.

Submit it.

Upload your .STP file, include your design notes, and make sure you fill out your info at the form below.

Submission deadline: March 31st, 11:59pm.

3.

We Print + Destroy.

We’ll choose the top 5 submissions and bring them to life in our lab. Then we’ll crush them on camera. One design will reign supreme.

4.

You Vote.

As each design is tested, we’ll post the results on our socials. The community gets to vote on the People’s Choice—so make sure your bridge not only holds strong, but looks good doing it.

5.

Claim Your Bragging Rights.

Two winners will emerge: the Strength Champion and the People’s Choice Favorite. Both will win $500 in FREE ABS Printing.
